3. Parents/kids could sign-up on the Fish for Kids website

4. 60 kids going into grades K-5 signed up

5. 30 Volunteers from Salvation Army Kroc Center

June 9, 2012 8th annual Fish for Kids event in De Pere

Second annual event held in De Pere, WI

1. Was held at Voyageur Park in De Pere, WI

2. From 9am to Noon

3. Parents/kids could sign-up on the Fish for Kids website

4. 80 kids going into grades K-5 signed up

5. 30 Volunteers

6. Gary Nault from the Lund-Mercury Pro-Staff was the guest speaker

7. Aquatic Invasive Species station with Souther Lake Michigan Basin, Bureau of Watershed Management (Division of the WDNR)

July 23, 2011 7th annual Fish for Kids event in De Pere

First annual event held in De Pere, WI

1. Was held at Voyageur Park in De Pere, WI

2. From 9am to Noon

3. Parents/kids could sign-up on the Fish for Kids website

4. 80 kids going into grades K-5 signed up

5. 30 Volunteers

6. Gary Nault from the Lund-Mercury Pro-Staff was the guest speaker

7. Aquatic Invasive Species station with Souther Lake Michigan Basin, Bureau of Watershed Management (Division of the WDNR)

8. First fish won a $50 gift card to Team Motorsports

 

May 31, 2010 6th annual Fish for Kids event in Oshkosh

Second annual event held in Oshkosh

1. Was held at Abe Rochlin Park in Oshkosh, WI

2. From 9am to Noon

3. Parents/kids could sign-up on the Fish for Kids website

4. 125 kids going into grades K-5 signed up

5. 45 Volunteers

6. The DNR brough its 600 Gallon Fish Tank full of fish!

7. Aquatic Invasive Species station with Calumet County DNR

May 30, 2009 1st annual Fish for Kids event in Oshkosh

1. Was held at Abe Rochlin Park in Oshkosh, WI

2. From 2pm to 5pm

3. Parents/kids could sign-up on the Fish for Kids website

4. 150 kids going into grades K-5 signed up

5. 55 Volunteers

6. The DNR brough its 600 Gallon Fish Tank full of fish!

7. Festival Foods brought its Motorized Shopping Cart!

May 30, 2009 5th annual Fish for Kids event in Fond du Lac

1. Was held at Oven Island in Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

2. From 9am to 12pm

3. Parents/kids could sign-up on the Fish for Kids website

4. 125 kids going into grades K-5 signed up

5. 35 Volunteers

6. Had a new Aquatic Evasive Species station by the DNR

June 28, 2008 4th annual Fish for Kids Fishing Workshop

1. Was held at Oven Island in Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

2. From 9am to 12pm

3. Parents/kids could sign-up on the Fish for Kids website

4. 75 kids going into grades K-5 signed up

5. 35 Volunteers

6. Included a new minnow race station, which was the favorite of the children

7. Every child that did not have a fishing pole got a free one, every other child got a tackle box

June 2, 2007 3rd annual Fish for Kids Fishing Workshop

1. Was held at Oven Island in Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

2. From 9am to 12pm

3. The following were places that participants could sign-up

4. About 110 kids going into grades K-5 signed up

5. 40 Volunteers

6. Talk from a Professional Fisherman

7. Every child received a raffle prize (Fishing pole, tackle box, other fishing gear)

June 3, 2006 2nd annual Fish for Kids Fishing Workshop

1. 95 children in 1 session (30 came half-way through)

2. 30 volunteers

3. $3000 worth of fishing gear given away

4. Free T-shirts

5. Free Snacks

6. 600 gallon Fish Tank brought by the DNR
